Rooms

A room is a virtual space where participants can join and interact. Each room has a unique identifier and can contain multiple participants sharing audio, video, and data.

Participants

Participants are users or entities that join a room. Each participant can publish tracks (audio, video, or data) and subscribe to tracks from other participants.

Tracks

Tracks represent media streams or data channels. There are three types of tracks:

  • Audio Tracks: Microphone or audio stream
  • Video Tracks: Camera or video stream
  • Data Tracks: Arbitrary data channels for messaging or state synchronization
